As the upcoming film of Saif Ali Khan opposite his real-life love Kareena Kapoor is a spy thriller it is inevitable to be compared with James Bond films; but the actor-producer Saif Ali assures about the Indian-ness of Agent Vinod.
Saif Ali Khan said that audience may come to watch Agent Vinod thinking that the film has been copied from a James Bond movie but it is stupid to think so, because in the first place James Bond is totally English. Saif Ali said this on the background of unveiling of the first poster of Agent Vinod.
Saif Ali further said that viewers will realize right from the first scene of the film that it is completely different from James Bond’s character because it is not copied from Bond film.
However Saif Ali is sure to make the sequels of Agent Vinod like they were made of James Bond, if Agent Vinod does well on box-office.
Agent Vinod has been directed by Sriram Raghavan and is scheduled to release on 23 March 2012.
