The 2nd and 3rd positions were secured by Bhavesh Dhingra and Kunal Goyal respectively.
Aman Bansal studied in Kota’s Allan Career Institute. This brilliant student scored 96.2 percent in 12th exams and wishes to get into IIT Mumbai. Kunal and Bhavesh are also from Allan Career Institute, but from different centers.
This test was held by IIT, Guwahati and over 1.5 lakh candidates appeared for it. There are 4 new IITs opened up in Goa, Jammu, Karnataka and Chattisgarh and so, the number of seats went up by 569.
However, IIT Guwahati has declared it that it is not the rank in JEE 2016 which would ensure a seat in ISM or IIT, but it is the aggregate marks that would be taken into consideration.
Aman appreciates the Kota System of coaching and says that it was majorly responsible for his JEE success. He further adds that he put in around 6 hours of his time daily, studying for the exam. Aman is a maths lover and in JEE Mains, he scored 120 out of 120, while in JEE Advanced, he scored 102 out of 124. He loves solving online Maths puzzles.
Mukesh Bansal, his father said
“It’s a proud moment to see my son hogging the national limelight. I couldn’t believe my eyes to see how confidently he is answering media’s questions,”
Bansal has always kept away from social media, in order to avoid those distractions. However, Aman was surprised when he came to he was trending on Twitter and received congratulatory messages there. He says “Neither I am on Facebook nor on twitter. I think now it’s time to make friends on social media,”
